Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens Extra Games: Fielder's Good Choice

Notice : This short story takes place after the events of the 8th volume. Spoilers ahead. ‘Life is a series of choices,’ someone had once said. I feel like those are the last words of some famous guy, but regardless I do find it rings true. Life moves forward every time you make a decision on something. Where you could live, what kind of job you should go for, what you should eat everyday, where you should go - these are decisions we all make everyday. Should you have ramen for dinner? Should you go mild or regular on the Fukuya mentaiko ? Those are another couple of examples for choices you have to make.

Intermission - a text file by a magazine writer. Everyone was in a slight panic when Yukihiro Kisa arrived to the editorial department. However, we were particularly more shocked with the scoop he brought back the day before rather than his outward appearance. He had managed to accomplish what everyone considered to be an impossible feat in less than a day. Naturally, coincidence and luck also played a factor. Nonetheless, he terrified us. Even though he should be called a hero for overcoming a trial, we looked at him with fright instead of showering him with praise. Becoming envious of someone who was overly competent was just how the world worked. If Yukihiro Kisa had been any other ordinary, capable newcomer, he would probably be both praised and subjected to hatred alike behind his back.
